About Happy Healthy Kids

Happy Healthy Kids was formed in 2018 with initial funding from the Rotary Club of Euroa. In collaboration with Euroa Medical, additional funding was sourced through Murray PHN, and this contribution was ongoing for a five-year commitment.

Happy Healthy Kids Euroa has provided local, timely, and affordable care to children who might otherwise have fallen through the cracks. The organization has formed partnerships with psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and other essential service providers—bringing high-quality care directly to the local community. This has led to measurable improvements in children’s well-being and ability to focus and engage with positive outcomes seen across the board—from early childhood centres and kindergartens to the local secondary college.

Today, Happy Healthy Kids Euroa is supported by a 12-member committee made up of representatives from local schools, kindergartens, and the medical centre. This group meets twice a term ensuring that services remain relevant, accessible, and responsive to the community’s needs. Target Patient Group: School aged children and young people attending Euroa educational facilities from disadvantaged and vulnerable families, experiencing but not limited to financial hardship, poor school attendance, low academic outcomes, low self-esteem, Disengagement from school and socially at risk.

Acknowledgement of Country

Happy Healthy Kids acknowledge the Taungurung People, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands that make up the Strathbogie Ranges and surrounding region. We recognise their enduring connection to Country — to the hills, waterways, forests and skies — and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who call this region home.

Dedication to Equity

Happy Healthy Kids are committed to fairness, inclusion, and access for all. Our work focuses on removing barriers and ensuring every person has the chance to participate, contribute, and thrive.
